They left my handicapped elderly mother in the
baggage area. One month later I'm trying to get in
touch with a human voice to make sure this doesn't
happen again. No real person. I called after
hours. She wasn't flying during 9-5. I was in
touch with many from the airport to airline to the
Kelly Sky Cap from the first experience. I will
now have to wait to see if she is left again.

Not sure what "newly renovated" means to whoever
wrote the summary but this place is in need of a
total makeover. Everything is worn and need of a
good cleaning and/or replacement.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of
their way to assist us with information on ski
packages, tours and shopping. The service was
great! The complimentary breakfast was a real
treat and a money saver. We met other guests from
all over the United States and enjoyed visiting
with them.

this hotel was clean and comfortabled...i would
stay here again. good area,nice staff..close to
malls,restaurants and highways...over all super
stay....we had some nightmare hotels in
tampa..this one is exactly what it says it is in
the advertising...if you are very pick about your
hotels..like i am...then this one is for you..

were on time coming and going back to the Tampa

OK for a pinch. Airport noise is a factor to
consider. Recent renovations made the rooms nice
for their 30-year age. 24 TV channels. "Breakfast"
is lots of items in cellophane packages, not bad
for grabbing and going. Free, wireless internet is
slow and near-worthless. We'd stay here again if
the schedule demanded it.

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in! For
anyone that is clean--or even semi-clean, this is
the dirtiest Hotel. It smells of smoke, the carpet
is molded, and the rooms smell terrible. I checked
in, went to my room, sat for 10 min and ended up
checking in at the Marriot accross the street at
200 more a night just because it was not worth to
inhale the air at the Doubletree--that can't be
safe or healthy!!!

This is my local Airport. One of the few that have
a smoking are at the departure and arrival
terminals. Inside the Airport before you board and
after landing.
