every thing was pretty nice exept for the
bathrooms. they were kind of old in quality. the
bath tubs would not drain right and the water was
never hot. also, there was a cigarett stench in
the room even if it was non smoking. and they need
some one to supervise the pool because on the last
day(saturday)of our stay, some people were
drinking in it, and the next day there was glass
and things in it and beer tops and such. but
everything else was very clean and profesional.

Overall, just okay! Room was too warm, couldn't
get cool. Blanket felt cheap. Fire alarm went off
2x one night (no fire, and it only went off in one
part of the building). Staff was very friendly,
though. Would probably try another similarly
priced hotel before staying there again.

For once I'm able to write a review where I was
pleased in all aspects of a hotel. My girlfriend
and I stayed here for one evening on the weekend,
and were very happy with everything from the
service, to the bathroom, to the spacious room
itself, tv, everything. I'd definitely stay here
again, as this is a fine quality hotel, and it
contributed to a very nice weekend for my gf and
I.

I work in the airport area and we always use the
Holiday Inn Select for our visiting VIPs. As an
event planner, I wish I could always find hotels
this nice. The desk staff is top notch, the rooms
impeccably clean, and the airport shuttle
accomodating to any departure time. It's far
enough from 28th Street to get a quiet night's
rest, but close enough to enjoy all the shopping
and restaurants you can handle. I stayed for a
night during one of our meetings and enjoyed it

Nicest cabs i've ever been in. I travel all over
the country and I've never seen such a well-run
cab company. And it costs me a lot less than other
cabs in grand rapids. Metro Cabs charged me $45 to
go to the Airport to the Courtyard downtown and
The Green Chauffeur only charged me $30 to go to
the airport from the courtyard. I will call these
guys every time I visit Grand Rapids.

I can't book a room in advance here when
traveling. I sometimes have to adjust my schedule
and this policy..."Canceling your reservation or
failing to show will result in a charge for the
first night per room to your credit card. Taxes
may apply. Failing to call or show before
check-out time after the first night of a
reservation will result in cancellation of the
remainder of your reservation" ...Is not fair to
me. I will look elsewhere. Thanks
