The new concourse is light & airy with many shops & restaurants to keep the traveller occupied. The old 1930s WPA concourse is a nice trip back in time. The Continental President's Club on the upper level has fantastic views across the Potomac and is an Art Deco masterpiece. My main problem is parking my car. I thought it would cost me another $50-$200 bucks for parking. I even thought of calling a taxi. Right at the moment I heard a very sweet news that the "PARKING IS FREE" in the main lot. Not just the matter with money. It is peace of mind too!! Thank you to the generous airport officials. Only 16 years old (opened October 1993) but it looks like it opened yesterday. The terminal spaces are very wide and bright and super easy to navigate! Airline service is a big disappointment after the US Airways cutbacks. Over half of the Airside terminal has been shut down and the commuter terminal has been shut down completely. On the positive side there are tons of shops and restaurants and are very affordable due to local laws restricting raises in price for airport vend
