with the black college tour i fell in love with

I was disappointed when I arrived at the hotel and
discovered that it is in the process of undergoing
a major renovation. The front desk told me that
they are starting with the 1st floor area and the
guest rooms in the summer. As a result there is no
food service and the place is an eyesore. The
halls and rooms certainly could use a renovating.
I don't think it is right that they don't note on
the reservation page that the hotel is currently
undergoing major renovations while asking full
price f

This place gets no stars. When you consider the
price, the outdated rooms, the lack of customer
service and the great hotels in the area, this
extended stay is horrible. The affiliation with
the GWU name is unfortunate for the university.
My mother "lost" her jewelry that was sitting on
the night stand for two days. I called weekly for
three months trying to speak to the AGM and GM,
and they repeatedly said they were checking the
key card log on the room door. They gave me a
three week time fra

I did a Masters program at SE. The quality of
education is unquestionably top shelf! It is
apparent that this college is very purposeful and
is focused on equipping the saints for authentic
christian living. The chapel services are awesome;
evokes the spirit within to reach out and want
more of God!

The restaurant is great! The rooms are pretty good
and very clean. The staff is very helpful as well.
The reason I enjoy this hotel is because most of
the staff are students learning how to manage
hotels and restaurants. The hotel is not located
too far from downtown and the staff will help you
find whatever you need around Houston and reserve
a taxi for you and everything. Great hotel!

I went to "da Yard" for 3 and a half years. Great
school. Only downfall is that it's in the middle
of the city. Far too many distrctions for the
young college student. Plus, those H-town dimes
will get you caught up every time!

Folks at the front desk are always friendly and
helpful. I got into a situation and needed help, I
went to front desk and explained it to them...they
said "no problem" and indeed problem was solved. I
can never express enough thanks to them. Hard to
find customer service like that anywhere. Kudos to
the Whitten Inn.
